In 1986, we opened our first studio in Katy, Texas, under the name of Roy Ortolon Photography specializing in wedding photography.  We operated that studio until 1998, at which time we both retired from other jobs.  Judy and I built a new home in Edna and opened a new studio under the name of Lasting Memories Photography.  We operated that studio until July 2004 and decided to retire from the photography business.   After taking a three year break and working with new digital equipment, we have decided to photograph a limited number of small weddings consisting of three bridesmaides or less.  We will also photograph a limited number of bridals, seniors and families.  During our nineteen years of photography, we photographed over 500 weddings and a large number of engagements, bridals, seniors and families.

We do not have a full studio and will photogaph everything on location.
